What should you get a 1-year old baby? I have a party coming up next weekend for my grand nephew. I was going to get a rattle because I can't think of anything else to get a 1-year old baby.
I can get a more expensive rattle - one that costs more than $5.

If he is in this area you might consider a Glock.

A toy car or firetruck that has sound effects. Or a little boy tool set.
Go to Sam’s if there’s one near. They often have terrific stuff for boys.
And don’t forget, he’ll grow into it.

One of those really obnoxious toys that they bang on and have literal bells, whistles, squeakers, and gongs; but only if you don’t like the parents.
Seriously, large wooden blocks are great for a 1-year-old.

Always more onesies, socks and diapers. Maybe a snow suit and boots. (Ask the baby’s grandma what to get, and what size)
