A military aircraft crash was reported on Sunday morning in Lake Worth, Texas that left three homes damaged and two pilots injured.
The two pilots ejected from the aircraft were taken to the hospital with one in critical condition and the other in stable condition.
The pilots, an instructor and a student, were using the aircraft as part of a military training course near Corpus Christi International Airport.
Lake Worth Police Chief J.T. Manoushagian said the student pilot was found in the power lines and the instructor in the neighborhood after they were ejected from the aircraft. The plane was found in the backyard of a home.
The student pilot was seen engulfed in flames before hitting powerlines, a witness told CBS 11.
The names of the pilots have not yet been released and the cause of the crash is currently unknown.
The Fort Worth Fire Department and Lake Worth Police Department arrived at the scene as locals reported seeing the pilots in parachutes before the aircraft crashed down between the 4000 blocks of Tejas Trail and Dakota Trail.
