T-45C Goshawk
Father God. Heal this student pilot from His injuries. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
The student pilot was seen engulfed in flames before hitting powerlines, a witness told CBS 11.
What could have caused that???!
Terrible.
“… The student pilot was seen engulfed in flames before hitting powerlines, a witness told CBS 11.…”

In flames BEFORE hitting the power lines? Wow… there’s a lot the accident reconstructionists are going to have to put together to figure this out.
It’s in a straight line with the runway.
No huge fire, not much fuel.
Did they run dry on the way to landing?
That doesn’t look like a T-45C, or even a jet. Same incident?
You sure you got the right picture there?
Praying for his full recovery, physically and mentally. God bless our heroes. I wonder if Milley told the Chinese not to worry about our in coming pilots?
Well... at least the basketball hoop survived.
How, will baffle accident reconstruction experts forever.
And provide a great advertising pic for the makers!
I remember a T38 ejection at Offutt and they ejected sliding along the ground.
One pilot ejected while sliding on level ground then going down an embankment the other pilot was shot forward and landed face first.
How, will baffle accident reconstruction experts forever.
I suspect the plane slide in from left to right as viewed in that picture. It may have rotated after hitting the ground.
Look at the tail, it’s shoved into the fuselage. It must have dropped tailfirst out of the powerlines.
No fire = No fuel
My guess is that it is witness error that one pilot was afire before hitting the power lines.
The picture of the crashed aircraft is not a T-45.
Either the picture of the crash is not the crash that is written about above
Or a T-45 was not involved.
Prayers for those involved.
“No huge fire, not much fuel.
Did they run dry on the way to landing?”
Well OK, but that wouldn’t cause the pilot to burst into flames.
that is a student pilot with bad bad luck
