A body has been recovered in the Wyoming forest where authorities have been searching for days for missing Long Island native Gabby Petito, according to a report Sunday.
Police have not confirmed if the body is that of the 22-year-old or if it is somehow tied to the case, but said authorities are working to confirm the identity, Fox news reported.

Saddened and heartbroken to learn that Gabby has been found deceased. Our focus from the start, along with the FBI, and national partners, has been to bring her home. We will continue to work with the FBI in the search for more answers.
If I were him and I were innocent, I’d have gotten out of the country. As one defense attorney being interviewed by Kirby Wilbur once said, “If you ever find yourself in criminal court, the verdict will have nothing to do with actual guilt or innocence.”
When the stakes are this high, it’s best to get a new ID and skedadle, even if innocent. The system is not kind, especially in cases that garner public interest. One that got lucky was Zimmerman.
Now the evidence gathered near the body, and the wounds on the body will drive the course of the charges and trial. So far, nothing has really shown to favor Laundrie.

They “harbored” him briefly realizing as John Walsh points out, the situation was untenable because whatever he did to her he was capable of doing to them so he was likely expelled by the parents.
I don’t blame the parents. Just don’t. Kid comes home and this unfolds with protests outside their home.
Mom’s near a nervous breakdown. Dads sleeping with a glock 9. They may have orchestrated his departure, but only to save themselves. Remember he hasn’t been charged with anything.
Joran van der Sloot’s parents protected him. I doubt if we’ll ever know how many girls/young women he murdered.

It seems that a bear attack could even be possible.Highly unlikely...but possible.
First thing is make sure their story about dropping off Brian Laundrie at that park is exactly what happened. They waited 72 hours to tell the police he took off. This could just be a lie and Brian made a run to escape the country. Could have hopped on a boat and headed to Mexico, Caribbean or elsewhere.
I’m not convinced the Tik Tok gal’s story is real. Otherwise, your theory is plausible.

Wouldn’t most people notify LE and family if they were to find their fiancé dead rather than leave their remains and go home?
I did not see that tic Tok video.. anything is possible.
Also see this there are two people additional people missing in the vicinity of Grand Teton Park from this summer. I think Brian is probably responsible for Gabby’s death, but if his story about staying away from her for a couple days it true then there could be a serial killer in the area.
I doubt it, but crazier things have happened in the past.
