But I wonder if they did that deliberately thinking he would might be seeing it.
Either way, IMO, he is lying through his teeth. He’s too nervous and is talking too much. She made way too many excuses for him.
I agree with the comments that this was an abusive relationship. The fact that the van was hers and he was controling it is a big indicator, IMO.

The body just found in Wyoming. FBI states they believe it is that of Gabby Petito.
