Revelation 8:8-11 King James Version (KJV) 8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
Sounds absolutely plausible. And I sure wouldn’t put it out of the realm of possibility. Certainly something to keep an eye on.
Me, I’ve been contemplating Revelation, Daniel, etc. a lot lately. Takes my mind to strange places. Take the 10-headed beast, for example. One of the heads suffers an apparently mortal wound, but miraculously doesn’t die. (”Comes back to life” in some translations)
Severe dementia is tantamount to a mortal wound to the brain, yes? Don’t know about anyone else, but the thought of BireOne making a miraculous, sudden, and complete recovery from his dementia scares the crap out of me.
Thanks for letting me engage in speculation. :-)

Prayers for the people who live in the molten lava’s path. I hope they were all safely evacuated. It’s sad to watch. The Canarian people (on all the islands) are very kind - I lived among them for five years in a previous life. I toured La Palma, and camped in the caldera a short distance away from where the volcano’s erupting. Beautiful pine forests. But the islands wouldn’t exist in the first place if it weren’t for volcanos, so...
Well. Thanks for reminding everyone of that!
