It is my assumption that for most people, the goal of
‘looking younger’ is completely separated from the goal of
‘living forever’. One is based on a healthy level of ego and vanity, while the other is based on delusions of being indespensible + never truly becoming satisfied with any state of being.

I really hope none of their evil schemes work to make them live an extra day longer than they should because it will be reserved for the very rich and not made accessible to the entire human race.

The one great equalizer in the entire world is no matter how much money or lack of money; we all have an expiration date with nature and God.

Improving health is one thing. Reversing age is another.

How foolish we are.

And I bet they are going to do lots of evil things in their pursuit of immortality.

The only thing they can do is help keep people from falling apart as fast.

They don’t need to mess with this.

All they need to do is identify and take things that help lengthen cells’ teleomeres.

Lots of room to improve and find things that do that.

Also instead of messing with genes, develop better medical energy devices that regenerate diseased and/or injured tissues faster. Current cold lasers and diathermy units are great and significantly speed up healing of injuries, but they aren’t incredibly fast.

Rewinding to age 18 would be fun.

Reversing age is probably impossible. So it’s too late for this oldster.

But what if you could stop or slow down the aging process starting at a young age? That’s where the money would be, especially as people hit their peak earning years.

I think of Young Frankenstein and the Monster’s sophisticated “Man About Town” tap dance performance.

Mostly because these people love to describe themselves as “Sophisticated”.

Au contraire, my hope is they are successful. Once they have successfully deployed their technology, in some short number of years, it would be glorious if they each suddenly developed total paralysis, except for the ability to breathe, blink, and swallow. Yet with their new improved genetic makeup and its propensity to make them survive, they would then be unkillable, so they would live forever in a vegetative state. Obama, Pelosi, Gates, and Soros should definitely be in on this.

We all live forever. The question is where? It’s your choice.

I sure don’t want to live in THIS world forever. It gets suckier all the time.

I doubt that it's impossible, though it's likely to come far too late to benefit all but the youngest alive today.

Most people who live to extreme advanced age say it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Everyone that means anything to them is dead, often including their children.

Uh, no. You are a biological entity and your job is to create another generation and die. That has been the game for 4.5 billion years, despite what your computers want.
