Husband pressures wife to abort twins
Clinic Quotes ^ | sept 14, 2021 | Sarah Terzo

Posted on 09/17/2021 1:20:17 PM PDT by Morgana

A woman who regrets her abortions tells her story. She had had two abortions with the same man and got pregnant again:

“… My husband and I were having problems… This time I wanted to have my baby. He told me no, it was better to abort. We scheduled an appointment and I still was trying to convince him to let me keep the baby. He told me it would be better not to have it.

I entered the room so they could prepare my cervix to contract. I would go home and come back the next day. They did an ultrasound and discovered I had twins. I asked for a moment to speak to my husband. I found him outside. I sat down beside him and begged him to let me keep the babies. He convinced me we could not afford them. I went back inside and killed my twins.

Less than a year later, I was divorced and my ex-husband and his girlfriend were expecting a baby…

I have paid the price dearly and even though God has forgiven me I still struggle with a life sentence of guilt… Please know that the simple and quick solution is usually not always the right one. This quick fix will haunt you till you die….I murdered four of my babies!”

NO. Her prior interchanges show that she’s aiming for MORE than half the blame onto men. Feminist. Feel free to join her but the exchange will not be filled with kindness. Jesus wasn’t kind when He confronted false teachers of His day, so I take my cue from him when confronting unbiblical falsehoods.

This woman, and all women like her, should have taken her twins and ran.

Better yet, just get child support. The children deserve more than that from both parents, but if they can't get him to man up, then they can at least get him to pony up.

so carry the babies and put them up for adoption.

Or get child support. If he was man enough to breed them, he can be man enough to feed them.

Perhaps but the husband was a moral creep. Just the sort of guy the 9 justices had in mind when they put out the Roe V Wade decision in 1973. Psychopathic male creeps and pedophile rapers of young women have been celebrating ever since. The Roe v Wade decison was a failure of male moral leadership in America...not just feminist agitation.

This is on the guys too, not just the gals!

I won’t argue the guys a creep and they’re a dime a dozen today......but women ‘standard’ expectations regarding mens behavior toward them have gone so far down the drain men have forgotten what’s good in themselves.

What so women have children by means of immaculate conceptions? The 1973 Roe V Wade decision was a state of the art gaslighting of the feminist movements; it allowed more of the bad. behavior from males that women have always legitimately complained about, not less. The story in the post is just one part of the tragic chain of consequences that have led from this decision.

Sure the woman should have run and she was also obviously of a poor spirit in herself, trying to save a marriage to an evil man and thus in moral flux. The man didn’t love her and ending up dumping her anyway. That he gave no thought of even supporting an adoption route and wanted no part of fatherhood must be looked at.

We don’t know of course what the woman was really like to live with. Some women can do the “poor little me bit” but the enormity of the thought of 4 killed children cannot be ignored.

Such a shame....there is guilt enough all around and such grief that the Father of Lights must feel at the cry of the blood spilt from these babies.

So we men must somehow start to teach such men...I’ll be doing what i can. The best starting place is to reinforce the the knowledge of the first 2 and greatest commandments laid down by our Lord. Once more men find their identity in God, the more they will be able to properly love their neighbors as themselves and to love their wives as Christ loves the church. It is the only way. Yes we may not have big impacts on society right now in this dark age but perhaps we can have large impacts on some which over time may lead to a new great re-AWAKENING in our land.

I joined a forum that young Christians seem to like on facebook. it’s not much but it gives me a place to start. Men of God. A lot of young women like it too.

What so women have children by means of immaculate conceptions?
***Some weird side issue. I notice that metmom has folks who come alongside her when she’s done defending her beliefs on this issue. Why is that?

The 1973 Roe V Wade decision was a state of the art gaslighting of the feminist movements; it allowed more of the bad. behavior from males that women have always legitimately complained about, not less.
***Again, a complete side issue to what we’re discussing.

The story in the post is just one part of the tragic chain of consequences that have led from this decision.
***The story in metmom’s post goes back to her feminist behavior on these threads. She’s trying to push blame onto men rather than have women accept their own blame.

Sure the woman should have run and she was also obviously of a poor spirit in herself, trying to save a marriage to an evil man and thus in moral flux.
***Side issue.

The man didn’t love her and ending up dumping her anyway.
***Side issue.

That he gave no thought of even supporting an adoption route and wanted no part of fatherhood must be looked at.
***Not that it woulda changed any woman’s mind, since it is “her body, her choice”. That must be looked at. But again, it’s all a side issue.

We don’t know of course what the woman was really like to live with.
***Side issue.

Some women can do the “poor little me bit” but the enormity of the thought of 4 killed children cannot be ignored.
***I agree, but yet it is still a side issue.

Such a shame....there is guilt enough all around and such grief that the Father of Lights must feel at the cry of the blood spilt from these babies.
***I totally agree.

These aren’t side issues....they are issues perhaps you wish to avoid.

You come across as a scolder of women. You are avoiding the issue of how immoral men have exploited and adapted to the Roe V Wade enviroment. This story is part of that chain of consequences.
The woman may have “the poor me bit down pat”, but I’m not necessarily fooled by it and I don’t see her saying...”Despite my bad husband I could have walked away and had these babies”.. That point isn’t lost on me.

You are wrong and have clearly read more into it than was said.

Bearing false witness is a sin.

I will back up what I say with direct quotes from your posts if you care to dive into it. Your accusational spirit is a sign of going askew of Christ’s will. I see this horse manure of accusing people of “bearing false witness” often — from UNBELIEVERS trying to manipulate the conversation. There are other indicators as well. You should look into that, if only for your own spiritual health.

They are SIDE issues. Metmom is wrong about her position trying to place blame on men and take it off women. Simply and plainly and scripturally wrong. She knows it. She just doesn’t want to back down due to her own ego. That’s what the exchange was about, all the rest of it you’re trying to pile on is simply side issues.

You come across as a scolder of women.
***I am scolding ONE woman: Metmom. You come across as someone who proceeds from the specific to the general, the classic fallacy known as Hasty Generalization. You should take a critical thinking class.

You are avoiding the issue of how immoral men have exploited and adapted to the Roe V Wade enviroment.
***Of course I am, because I am focused on the issue of Metmom being wrong as a feminist. That’s why I call your nonsense a side issue; because it IS, for my purposes.

This story is part of that chain of consequences.
***No it aint.

The woman may have “the poor me bit down pat”, but I’m not necessarily fooled by it and I don’t see her saying...”
***I really don’t GAFF what you think or see or what fools you about the woman in this abortion story. It is a side issue. You keep trying to draw me in but you also keep ignoring where metmom was wrong as a feminist, so you’re doing EXACTLY the same thing you accuse me of doing.

Despite my bad husband
***I could have guessed that...

I could have walked away and had these babies”..
***Side issue.

That point isn’t lost on me.
***There are things you should explore about yourself regarding these things but those are side issues so you’re kinda on your own. TTFN.

In the OT, when a woman took a vow that her husband did not know about, when he found out, he could either let it go or disallow it, freeing her from the vow.

The man is the head of the marriage and Ephesians 5 and 1 Corinthians 11 support this. He is responsible for the marriage and family and accountable to God for fulfilling that role, just as God held Adam responsible for the Fall. Sin entered the world through him by God’s reckoning in Romans 5. Yes, Eve ate first but Adam failed in his role as provider and protector in many ways.

Numbers 30:3-16 3 If a woman also vow a vow unto the Lord, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth;

4 And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the Lord shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.

6 And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;

7 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

8 But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the Lord shall forgive her.

9 But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.

10 And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;

11 And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

12 But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the Lord shall forgive her.

13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.

14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.

15 But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.

16 These are the statutes, which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house.

Scripture places a lot of onus on men to rule their households (and their daughters) wisely and to women to be circumspect regarding their choices and be respectful when their husband says no!

On the other hand....the story of Nabal,David,and Abigail in 2 Samuel 25 makes an interesting bit of side reading in relation to the passages you cite. Proverbs 31 makes another.

Of course the marriage we are reading about has no bearing with any semblance of a Christian marriage. Many women(Christian or not Christian) though are bound to their husbands in spirit as described in Genesis 3:16”16 To the woman He said:

“I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;
In pain you shall bring forth children;
Your desire shall be [e]for your husband,
And he shall rule over you.”

Thus I can understand a not overly wise or a woman with little Christian training not being able to overcome a brutish husband’s wishes. The curse laid down on men and women from the Garden would work against her in this instance.There is the spiritual binding and there is chemical binding.
Oxytocin releases during marital passion can bind a woman chemically to a man, its the same chemical released during the first suckling of a child to the mother causing the “bonding” between mother and child.

Thus we have positive scientific support for the “desire for the husband and he shall rule over you” verse in Genesis 3:16.
