Brian Laundrie, through his lawyer, has still refused to speak with police about the possible whereabouts of his missing fiancé Gabby Petito, whose van he drove home to Florida from out West 10 days before she was reported missing.
Laundrie’s attorney has only released a pair of statements that do not address the missing 22-year-old’s possible whereabouts or last known location.
"I can see why criminal defense lawyer would say, you know what, you can't. You got to stay in the background: Don't talk," said Lara Yeretsia, a leading West Coast-based defense attorney. "but I can also see why it's so difficult in this situation, how horrific it is and what the impact is, because he's the last person who saw her."

Breaking from the attorney for Brian Laundrie: “Be advised that the whereabouts of Brian Laundrie are currently unknown. The FBI is currently at the Laundrie residence removing property to assist in locating Brian. As of now the FBI is now looking for both Gabby and Brian.”
It's amazing to me that so-called conservatives on this forum could write such a thing.
Are you concerned about a lack of groupthink?

When being separated the cop asked her if she wanted to give Brian a message and she told the cop to tell him to make sure his phone was on so she could call him if needed.

So something might have happened to gabby while in grand Tetons.
Maybe Brian being not attuned to cell phone tower tracing sent some texts from Wyoming attempting to imply that gabby was in Yosemite.
Great, but the cell phone tower tracking should be available to police by now, yes? I wonder how long it takes to get a warrant. No more than a couple of days at most I would hope. Or maybe police or phone company made some ping log mistakes?
I would expect a focus on trying to find gabby in the Tetons area. That’s a lot more focused than a dozen western states stretching back to Florida. Maybe sweeping a hundred yards on each side of each trail.
Brian is getting more difficult to defend by the hour, yikes...
Grand Teton, Wyoming to north port, Florida is 2360 miles on I-75 according to google.
2360/48 = 50 mph
Doable with lots of caffeine. But tough. Why the rush?
If Brian was attempting an alibi then imho it would seem to be a rather dumb one.

Colter bay to Jackson lake dam is 7.6 miles and a 2+ hour hike according to google.
It could be that Brian ranged further than that away from a hypothetical parked van, and hitchhiked back using multiple rides. Still, it seems imho that he would not have gone very far from wherever the van had been parked.
