I hope that’s true, because it seems to me everyone in this country to the right of Mao Zedong and Stalin is under attack in one form or another. Stepping back and looking at it from the “10,000 foot level,” it seems to be a concerted effort from multiple sources at once to destroy ALL opposition to the Left. I don’t know how we extricate ourselves from the apparent communist takeover of our country from within.

Well what we call "the Left" is really just the modern variant of something that has been coming in different guises through all human history. The current variant will defeat itself, even if we do not defeat it. And the new variant may very well blame the disasters and bigotries of our current variant on those that do not join them.

Ultimately what victories I think we can have is in how we live our own lives. That we stay honorable and noble and try to be an example to our neighbors not to buy into the division and bigotries and tribalism that this blight on the world promotes.
