Police bodycam footage has been released of officers speaking to Gabby Petito and her boyfriend Brian Laundrie in Utah after they responded to a 911 call of a domestic incident a month before she was reported missing.
The Moab City Police Department on Thursday released the hour-long footage of their interaction with the couple when they pulled over their white van outside Arches National Park in Moab on Aug. 12.
In the footage, obtained by ABC7, Petito sobbed as she spoke to an officer.
“I have really bad OCD. I was apologizing to him saying I’m sorry I’m so mean,” Petito told the officer.

THAT;S a stretch.
ALL I said was her body language was suspicious.
The guy was more calm and less fidgety.
Those are real and honest OBSERVATIONS .... not determiners or conclusions.

I’m in complete agreement. Fortunately for me, my wife didn’t start physically beating me until just before she filed for divorce :-)
That was 24 years ago and her current long-term relationship is constant physical turmoil. Meanwhile, mine is absolute Bliss of a type I never knew it was possible.

Here’s my theory: She left the van before morning and started walking. She got lost in the Utah wilderness and died or was picked up by someone and hasn’t been heard from since. He’s not talking because he honestly doesn’t know what happened to her.FYI: https://nypost.com/2021/08/22/married-couple-shot-dead-at-utah-campsite-man-was-creeping-them-out/

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is regularly joked about but it absolutely owns people. Interactions with an OCD patient is similar to interactions with a drug user. The OCD
always wins.
Bi-polar is the same although certain medications appear to mitigate it to some level.

There are time lapse videos on YouTube of the carcass of a moose disappearing over about a week.
The 1000 pound moose died from something. Within a week it was completely gone. Animals even carted away most of the bigger bones.

You can use circumstantial to convict someone for murder without finding the body. You can, but it's VERY challenging.
In one case a leg was found and the defense attorney successfully argued that since a man can live without a leg, finding a leg was no proof of his death!
And if you try and fail, and the accused is acquitted, they cannot be charged again under double jeopardy when a body finally turns up.
Most grand juries will no bill a case without a body.

I know people with OCD and they aren't the nuts people are making them out to be. Some of the comments about this young woman are disturbing.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a common, chronic, and long-lasting disorder in which a person has uncontrollable, reoccurring thoughts (obsessions) and/or behaviors (compulsions) that he or she feels the urge to repeat over and over.

You side with the murder . No I don't. Why would you come to such a conclusion? I'm simply speculating as to motive. He might be a sociopathic thrill-killer for all we know.

Looks like she got socked in the eye. And he locked her out of HER van. I'd be really ticked!

There are varying degrees of OCD.
They can be as little as the woman next to me who’s desk is reaaly neat, has sticky notes all lined up perfectly and in their place. To people who can not function unless they put their shoes on exactly the same way everyday. AKA Dustin Hoffman’s character in the movie “Rainman”.

Never saw Rainman.
It still doesn't make her an abusive nut.

An OCD person wearing rings on both thumbs and both index fingers? Hmmmm...most OCDs/sensories I know disdain jewelry because it disgronifies and amplifies their OCD.

Seems like the man had a lot of bad stuff to say about this young woman. I would not out a lot of credence into his words, given he returned home & her family supposedly didn’t know she was missing for ten days!

He’s not talking because he honestly doesn’t know what happened to her. I would not agree with that. If that was the scenario, he'd be leading the search parties and actively cooperating with all law enforcement to help find her. By going home and lawyering up, he's made himself the prime suspect.
