France and Australia are both socialist, France has elected communist admins in the past. Why do we feel compelled to deal with any of them?

You're going back many many decades. The communist party in France is weak. In the current French legislature, they have 10 seats out of 500+ seats in the French Parliament or whatever it is called and zero seats in the European Parliament. The party receives less than 10% of the vote now.

So, some things to consider: You can arguably say France has more honest elections than we currently conduct. At least, these folks are out in the open and we know who they are and the communists in our land work behind the scenes, pretending they are not who they really are.

We deal with them for influence. If we don't, it creates a vacuum that some other nation will fill, sometimes to our detriment and/or the world's detriment.

In the case of Saudi Arabia, Trump promised them weapons to fend off Iran and their client states. As we know, Trump "lost". Biden cancelled the weapons and has dismantled the defensive means of protecting Saudi Arabia. Needless to say, Saudi Arabia is very vulnerable and in their fear and the vacuum created ran right into the arms of Russia and has signed a new weapons deal with them. Truly, a stupid move on our part since we know Russia creates havoc, instability and trouble wherever they go. It has been a goal of the US to keep Russia out of the Middle East for decades. No one is saying Saudi Arabia is a clean and worthy state, but it is always in our best interests to block Russia from increasing their reach and influence and, of course, of protecting the world's economy.

We will pay for this one way or another.

We’re not a stone’s throw from being socialist these days. Look who’s running this nation. Or, rather, ruining this nation. A bunch of communist sympathizers and organizers.
