We have joined Britain and Australia in Oceania to oppose China in Eastasia and I guess they will have to join the rest of Europe and Russia in Eurasia.
“France erupts as Australia prepares to ditch $90BILLION submarine plan for a US nuclear powered fleet.”

I’m not anti or pro French on this particular issue.
France knows the Anglo sphere nations have a “special relationship.”
“That’s how we roll.”
This isn’t about any special relationship. France has totally botched their nuclear sub deal and the Aussies have finally had enough. It’s about time. What a fiasco it’s been.

Our State Department, Intelligence Agencies, Politicians, and Media are excellent at selling unnecessary wars.
They’ve had many years to perfect their propaganda/information for the people of the United States.
“They’re good at what they do.”
It has been a fiasco, and France is out the $90 billion, but France's sub design was conventional, not nuclear.

Thanks for the correction.
I admit I don’t have your knowledge on this issue.
They were trying to use a nuclear sub platform and turn it into diesel-electric. Now they'll get nukes that were designed from the ground up to be nukes. The Aussies should also start thinking about a nuclear weapons program while they're at it. Red China is looking to gobble up the rest of the world and Australia sure as hell can't count on Biden-type administrations anymore.
I shouldn’t have said nuclear sub. France was to convert a nuclear sub platform into diesel-electric for Australia, and that has been a fiasco.
France often reminds me of Turkey’s Erdogan.....always wanting to be a part of things and offend when he’s not included so he sticks his head in anyway.
China isn't a threat, so says General Milley, and the Biden Administration. Will Milley call the Chi-coms to let them know Australia is going to attack them with nuclear subs?
I guess we are headed into darkness whatever this alliance means in the end.
Will it work out like the international alliance did in Afghanistan?
France and Australia are both socialist, France has elected communist admins in the past. Why do we feel compelled to deal with any of them?
Anyone really still stupid enough to trust security agreements negotiated with Bugout Joe’s regime?
>> Bugout Joe’s regime
Guessing the defense contractors are steering the ship.
So, some things to consider: You can arguably say France has more honest elections than we currently conduct. At least, these folks are out in the open and we know who they are and the communists in our land work behind the scenes, pretending they are not who they really are.
The “Aussies” are abusing their citizens!
In the case of Saudi Arabia, Trump promised them weapons to fend off Iran and their client states. As we know, Trump "lost". Biden cancelled the weapons and has dismantled the defensive means of protecting Saudi Arabia. Needless to say, Saudi Arabia is very vulnerable and in their fear and the vacuum created ran right into the arms of Russia and has signed a new weapons deal with them. Truly, a stupid move on our part since we know Russia creates havoc, instability and trouble wherever they go. It has been a goal of the US to keep Russia out of the Middle East for decades. No one is saying Saudi Arabia is a clean and worthy state, but it is always in our best interests to block Russia from increasing their reach and influence and, of course, of protecting the world's economy.
We will pay for this one way or another.
