”after he departed for military training without telling the court or his attorney..”I never served in the military but I did take a few steps towards it after college, and as I recall, even early in the process, long before being close to any actual commitment, they still turn your life inside out looking to weed out unsuitable people. How on earth did this guy “depart for military training” while facing charges? How could the military have overlooked or somehow not found out that he was facing charges and out of jail on bond?
