Utah police have revealed they responded to an 'incident' involving 22-year-old 'van-life woman' Gabby Petito and her boyfriend (pictured together, centre), just two weeks before she was last seen in Wyoming. Moab Chief of Police Bret Edge said: 'Our officers did respond to an incident involving Brian Laundrie and Gabrielle Petito on 12 August 2021 however, neither Brian or Gabrielle were the reporting party. Officers conducted an investigation and determined that insufficient evidence existed to justify criminal charges.' It not clear what the incident was about. Petito was reported missing by her mother, Nichole Schmidt, on September 11, two weeks after they had last spoken to her on the phone. Laundrie, who went to Florida in the van (bottom left) he shared with Petito, has since hired a lawyer and refused to tell Petito's family where she was last seen. The couple had been travelling together in their van and she was last seen on Grand Teton National Park (top left).

“Just another killer boyfriend/husband story.”
It’s worth five episodes on Investigation Discovery.
There is not much cell coverage in that area. But I hope you are right.
There are a few bears up there too.

I use Ad Block Plus and apparently some websites detect it.
People in love say sappy stuff all the time. This statement means nothing. All this conjecture achieves nothing. Just leave it to the police for now.
I think it's because the one hour show is over. We know who did it. We are expecting the epilogue that shows what happened in court. The whole idea that things aren't wrapped up in a neat package in one hour is now unimaginable.
Red flags to me:
-No father in home.
-Mother takes her F-buddy to press conference.
-Missing woman is dumb-as-a-box-of-rocks.
Woman clearly has no wisdom, no discretion and a ‘girl power’ complex from her mom. Bad combination. Then goes off across country with her bad-boy, No-Fs-Given boyfriend for a Social-Media-Self-Promotion trip and the inevitable happens. Like mixing nitro and glycerin or playing with matches and gasoline (also on YouTube).
No surprise. Apparently her Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts couldn’t save her from immorality and evil. It was her dad’s job to teach her discretion and morality but apparently the mother got him out of her life years ago. So, no surprise here.
Hopefully they find the body and the boyfriend gets the death penalty to close the loop on this. Sad the children have to suffer for the parents to respect morality and discretion and acquire some wisdom.
Like those two boys in Miami who took their 18-footer out into a storm to run to the Bahamas. Lack of discretion and wisdom have consequences. Their parents at least forbid them to take the boat offshore.
VAN LIFE | Beginning Our Van Life Journey
She does come across as sort of daffy - in a Laura Palmer sort of way. Hope she's okay though. The man driving home to Florida without her raises all kinds of flags. He can only hide behind his lawyers for so long.
Not the way I’d have said it but — yeah. All that. Especially the “girl power” thing. I’m a millennial, but I don’t feel the power to traipse around the country with a boyfriend in a van. One blood relative or another knows where I am at all times. I’m 60” high and maybe 90lb. light. To a predator I look like prey. All the “girl power” on earth doesn’t negate the evil in human hearts, nor does it excuse immorality. There’s no invisible protective bubble, we need to know our limitations around people and before God.
i use an ad blocker and can read the daily mail.
My experience is that these type of people give off signals about what can happen. If you ignore them or dismiss them, you do so at your own peril.
I know several women who dismissed “If you leave me, I will kill you” and ended up dead.
