That’s what we did for my dad. We weren’t crazy about him being cremated but Mom made that decision. Mom made the decision to have herself cremated. There was a memorial service a good while after Dad passed so that’s what I expect with Mom.
I’m still not sure the vaccine didn’t start this ball rolling with Mom. She has had problems for a while but was able to get around with a walker. My sister said she wanted the vaccine and BOOM, right after her second shot she started having small strokes and has been bedridden since. Now....she was 87 years old so the strokes could be age related or jab related. We will never know. I talked to her on the phone prior to her jabs and she was normal. After the jabs she was bedridden and didn’t know anybody most of the time.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your Mom; that’s a tough one. My Mom passed spring of 2019, just a few months shy of her 102nd birthday. Hugs to you.
