Long Island dad begs for return of daughter who vanished on road trip

The desperate dad of a Long Island woman who went missing during a cross-country trip with her boyfriend told The Post on Monday that he is only focused on bringing her home — adding, “All of the crap afterward will sort itself out.”

Gabby Petito, 22, was last known to be in Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park in late August after heading out on a road trip a month earlier with her boyfriend, identified on social media as Brian Laundrie.

Laundrie, who has since returned to Florida, has reportedly hired a lawyer and refused to cooperate with authorities.

“I want to keep the focus on finding [Gabby],” Joe Petito told The Post amid questions about what happened to his daughter. “[Laundrie] doesn’t matter. The van [they were in] doesn’t matter.

“Don’t focus on the crap, focus on finding her. I can’t implore that enough. All of the crap afterward will sort itself out. Please find her. I beg you,” the dad said, addressing authorities and the public.

Big question - did he drive the van home, or fly home? Big difference, and both have been suggested. So which is it?

I thought so, especially for van camping for a decent amount of time out west.
Do some shrooms, have a fire and stare at the stars for 10 straight hours...
Maybe beer and some laced coke...

A lot of tough guys here want to torture and murder they guy with zero knowledge of the situation. That said, it’s fishy.

Could be they drove that van as far as they could
Abandoned it out west
Split up on a cold dark night,
Both agreeing it was best.........

Hiring a lawyer and refusing to cooperate with authorities is good advice...

Esp when you are about to become the primary suspect in a girl's disappearance.

Another thought, lots of beauty to see in Mexico and south. Gorgeous African beaches.Would you allow your daughter to "road trip" in any of those places?

Look around.
