I know what koozies are...but never thought the word sounded appropriate. Kind of a mix between floosie and kootie.

No. I never heard the word, much less know what it means. Sounds like a variation on what I’ve heard of as a drink “cozy”; basically an insulated sleeve.

Am I the only one that had to Google “koozie”? I never heard it before I moved to Texas in my early 20s.
It’s used regularly here. (As are koozies themselves. They help keep your beer cold in the hot weather.)

If you lived in MY neck of the woods, your koozie would be made of Raccoon and coordinate perfectly with our Raccoon Head Bands and fur-trimmed boots!

Of the three, I only own the Raccoon head band. Beau gives his pelts to a friend who has a thriving business making hats and koozies and such from Raccoon. ;)

I assumed, correctly it turns out, that it’s what the girls at the Bangkok beer bars call a “condom”.

Am I the only one that had to Google “koozie”?In 21st Century America, I don't even want to know what a 'koozie' is.
