A couple is being slammed for hosting an “obscene and revolting” 9/11-themed wedding after a tasteless image emerged online of a personalized koozie featuring the Twin Towers.
The fallen towers appear to have been used in place of the number 11, according to an image of the koozie posted on Reddit on Sunday.
“Never forget. 9 11 21,” the text printed on the drink holder reads.
The names of the couple have been blurred out.
The couple have not been identified and it is unclear where the wedding took place. It also wasn’t immediately clear if the koozies were handed out to guests as wedding favors.
Nonetheless, the couple were immediately slammed as “revolting” by Reddit users.

The tastelessness of some people never ceases to amaze me.
Did the male relatives fire shots into the air and the females ululate?
Am I the only one that had to Google “koozie”?
I don’t believe even rednecks are that crass.
And as a southern redneck, I can say that!
Maybe they are thinking their marriage will end the same way as the towers. Preempting the rubble sequence.
Yeah, I know this is tasteless also. Sorry.
“The tastelessness of some people never ceases to amaze me.”
Papa once told me “before you get as old as I am, you’ll meet a lot of people you’re better off to just ignore”. Then there’s the insufferable pricks you take pleasure inviting to a “thump session”.
Maybe they lost relatives that day and were it not for 9/11 those people would be at the wedding? Just saying without knowing the why, it’s not really fair to assign motive. Maybe they are just jerks.
The bigger issue is why someone chose to make this a “news” article. What was the motivation for the story? To me it says we live in a country of bullies that just want to nit and pick anything and everything to death. (Just my two cents).
That was my thought as well. Maybe they were muzzies like the ones in Patterson NJ who danced at the sight of the twin towers collapsing.
Heck just watching the absurd and awful advertisements today is sloppy and far less than amateur. Everything depicted with kids and teens in mind and in bad taste as well.
Nope
Not worth a story. I don’t get the outrage about it. They got married on 9/11 so they made coozies. Big deal.
The fact that this country is being run by communists, and the Republican party is not fighting to the political death, is outrageous. Another thing that is outrageous is we are being controlled over a virus that kills less than 1% of healthy people who are sickened.
What a weak Nation we are indeed.
OH NO, we belittled an attack from 20 years ago, by inviting the very people to Ground Zero who were responsible in small or large part for it, the politicians in and out of the military and bureacracy.

Boy investigative reporting sure ain’t what it used to be.
Two of the 81 million are identified...
I know what koozies are...but never thought the word sounded appropriate. Kind of a mix between floosie and kootie.
I guess saying they fell for each other would be similar. Same apology btw.
I was thinking maybe they meant it as a positive statement?
Probably too young to remember that day.
There are all kinds of 9/11 memorial memorabilia you can buy everywhere, and people are outraged over this? I don’t get it either.

..be grateful they're self-identifying. You have no one to blame but yourself if you ignore their warning of exactly what they are.
