Arkansas rushed for 333 yards on its way to a 40-21 blowout win over No. 15 Texas in front of 74,531 Saturday night inside of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville (Ark.).
The Razorbacks (2-0) held a 16-0 lead at halftime and tacked on 17 more in the third quarter while holding the Longhorns (1-1) to just 256 total yards of offense on the night. Arkansas fans rushed the field as the Hogs took a knee and ran out the final seconds of their lopsided upset victory.

Maybe Nixon's ghost visited the Arky lockerroom after the game.
I was thinking getting one of these might ingratiate me.
SEC West is pretty stout top to bottom this year. It would not shock me, if LSU finishes at the bottom. And Bama is really going to have to earn it this year.
How long do you think Oklahoma State and West Virginia will hang around? T. Boone didn't give all that money to OK State just to be in some non-Power conference.
Breaks my heart.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!
No, seriously, what a shame.
Now if only Notre Dame had lost. I wonder if they intentionally let Toledo score that TD to give them time.
We've got Dibs! AR-15, Baby!
We? Youâre a player for Texas? Or just another guy who took a few classes at Southwest Texas State Teacherâs college?
Poor Hornys
Poor Hornys
WE = Arkansas. The Arkansas schedule is brutal. WE will have to improve to take on Georgia or Bama.
You might get a mixed response on that one. NW Arkansas is exploding. Land is disappearing and apartments are going up everywhere. I can sell at a profit but there’s nowhere else to go.
The next SEC Shorts is gonna be good.
Well it sure beats losing to North Texas, don’t it?
LOL, do it!
Oh heck yeah.
One day I want to watch this game in a bar in Texarkana.
Itâs true. We looked all over the place in north western Arkansas and no fewer than seven times the house we were going to look at was bid on or went under contract before we could even get there to look at it
So, did you find a place?
Yep, we found a house that checked 99% of our boxes down in the central AR area, near Bryant.
Humidity and bugs take a little getting used to, but still an improvement over Kalifornia.
