Agreed. I spent so much energy defending Bush and his decisions for almost a decade, I feel I now owe apologies to all those people.
That said the errors Bush made were ones most of agreed with. We thought we could repeat the process that worked in Japan and Germany to turn enemies into allies. We all thought that the lessons of Vietnam had been learned and a group of unwashed tribesmen had no way of standing up to our military.
It was personal arrogance on the part of Bush that failed, but it was an arrogance almost all of us shared.

I voted for a Bush 4 times.
We have been deceived for years by the Republican party.
They even gave two to take a fall for the cause in Romney and McCain.
These people have never really been for us, just ambition, evil deceptive ambition.

My support of GWB ended with the Iraq invasion. At that moment he was unmasked as nothing more than just another globalist @sshole.

His remarks were very typical of the Bush family; say what you need to get elected, then turn with venom after you got the prize on those who supported you and worked for you so you can please the refined folk you meet at Kennebunkport and private school reunions. The reward is to get a few backhand compliments from the “press”, the mainstream media doesn’t question your crazy wars and the deaths and carnage you created, they don’t look into why the police files disappeared on your wife’s car crash that killed her boyfriend, your daughters get nice jobs that would be far off limits to women that are far more attractive, intelligent and talented. Thus his daughter Jenna is the anchor of the Today Show, his other daughter went to Yale, and Bush himself expresses “pride” in getting admitted not only to Yale on very low SAT scores but also got in “all by himself” into Harvard Business School (the Oliver Stone movie points out the pride when the dunce tells his father that he had nothing to do with it). You’ve got all this, so you don’t rock the boat and you say whatever the elites direct you to, during time off from your fingerpainting. Thus, Bush’s script at Shanksville repeated almost exactly what Hillary Clinton had to say about “domestic extremists” the night before; he’s dancing to their tune, just like a no-witted marionette.
I honestly believe that Bush has been blackmailed, and told that he would face international war crimes trials at the Hague if he doesnt play along.

They did nothing nothing to save America and did everything to hasten its fall.
Nearly weekly, Saddam locked on our planes in the “No Fly Zone” and refused weapons inspectors. Just one of these occasions was all that was needed to kick his azz into the stone ages, because the cease-fire agreement allowed resumption of war, then.
