The impact of this mandate is yet to be realized. Schools my children attend could be shut down. Any Archdiocese with a faithful Bishop has more than 100 employees. I see this as the shot heard around the world? Am I the only one who sees it this way?
The Catholic hierarchy is all onboard with this. They’ll go along with this mandate every bit as enthusiastically as you could imagine.
Not all. Bishop Strickland in Texas just came out this week against the vaccine. Cordileone in San Francisco isn’t afraid to speak the truth. I get it that liberal Catholic Universities are on board but what about Franciscan, Ave Maria or the University of Dallas?

Oxymoron. If one is liberal, one is no longer even close to being a believer in anything superior to their own weak intellect.
Mark 3:25 says, “And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”
My best guess about our house divided is those who stand against the Lord will stand for their season, but those who stand with the Lord will stand forever.
The tricky part is knowing which is which, as Satan, the deceiver, loves to muddy the worldly waters, but sometimes it’s obvious even without discernment.
Satan’s good at playing us with our emotions, especially so with fear and anger. Where you find them, you’ll find him.
He’s drawn to those psychic energies from us like flies to stench or sharks to blood in the water.
And he loves to plant the seeds of our darkest emotions in us and cultivate them to then feed upon us.
Ask God for and accept His Peace and Satan will flee.
Your schools will be shut down only if you allow them to be. If push comes to shove, every parent needs to escort their children to school armed. Then take turns in groups guarding the schools from the evil ones. This will never occur because people are afraid to fight.
The hierarchy may be all on board with this mandate but the rest of the clergy and religious not so much. I think there may be a real problem. I know my parish priest is not vaccinated and neither was his assistant. Our Diocese in the deep south is very short-handed when it comes to priests. We had two leave at the same time (probably not a coincidence) and it caused a real manpower problem. The church simply cannot afford to lose very many priests, especially over an issue like this as the ones who feel strongest about abortion are the ones doing the lions’s share of the work.
And the source for all of these divisions seems to come from the same wellspring, as though something fell in the pool and died and its now decaying body has contaminated the waters we all drink making us sick.
If we can remove it, the waters will become clean again and we will be restored.
But some like being sick, even prefer it to being well, and they won’t let the well-spring pool be cleaned.
Something has to change and sooner or later it will.
