I agree that is what they are saying now, but the vaccines and their nasty side effects are relatively new....

Most people still don’t know anyone who has had serious side effects from the vaxxes.

(I have one relative who has been brutalized by the vaxxes...but that is just me.)

I hear you. Back in 2020 I was in a very public-facing "frontline" profession which virtually guaranteed I'd be among the first wave of people exposed to the whole COVID thing. I made my decision back then that I was just going to keep driving on let the chips fall where they may. I wasn't going to be afraid of a damn thing.

And then you know what happened? Nothing. That's what happened. Absolutely nothing. I watched the whole world become an insane asylum of manufactured fear, while in the real world, out on the street, NOTHING happened.
