president of United States, Joe Biden, will announce this afternoon the mandatory vaccination against coronavirus covid-19 of all employees of the federal government, a total of 2.1 million people, reported this Thursday the US media.

Biden is scheduled to announce the decision in a speech from the White House at 5:00 p.m. local time (9:00 p.m. GMT).

Well, when they offer an actual “vaccine” for covid, in the same way that ones exists for the “traditional flu”, maybe more folks would be inclined to take them.

What is being offered now is not and will never be a “vaccine” in the traditional sense. Proof of that is how the CDC has changed the language/definition of what they consider to be a vaccine and what it does/should do. All they did was re-write the rules to accommodate the debacle they helped create.

No different than how the counted deaths before The ‘Rona, during The ‘Rona, and now after The ‘Rona.

On a side note, amazing that they admit the test can’t differentiate between the “flu” or The ‘Rona and yet, last year, the number of flu cases didn’t reach 3000, if I’m not mistaken. But, everyone else had The ‘Rona

>>Federal employees cannot and will not strike.<<

I didn’t mention strike. They have sick days don’t they? If there is a will, there is a way.

3. (AND THIS IS A BIG ONE) ... I can’t reverse my course of action and “un-vaccinate” myself if I get a vaccine and #1 and/or #2 turn out to be legitimate concerns.

Indeed. It’s those irreversible decisions, which may turn out bad, which are the worse decisions to make. It becomes potentially a mistake you can’t recover from.

Biden to Order Mandatory Coronavirus vaccination

A or else option like the Australian ‘Quarantine Camp’ ?.

It’s starting to look like part 1984 and part American Marxism books all in one.

Will this also apply to contractors for the Fed as well as any suppliers with contracts?

I know a lot of current fed employees that are gonna revolt.

Perhaps the older set, coming up on retirement anyhow, but the fact is, most the middle aged/younger crows that work for the feds will happily get the vax. If they don't, it means they can't continue to bank that fed $$$ and pay for the nice, comfy little lifestyles. Sacrifice that??? Lol. You're crazy.

“Will this also apply to contractors for the Fed as well as any suppliers with contracts?”

You answered that question for me in a previous post. Thanks

We know the polls (based on post-election polling).

57% of AFGE members said they voted for the senile vegetable.

So that means the rest of them should be forced to get the jab?

The majority of folks in CA voted for the demented one.

That means everybody in CA should be forced to take the jab?

Your enemy—our enemy—is the Pfascists.

Focus on them.

ummmmm......the USA is/was not a Democracy.

It is/was a Constitutional Republic where we elect folks to Represent us. Most of the time, rather poorly.

The Union Leadership will sell out the members as fast as they can. Even the lawyers given that they need a license to practice and it would be a crying shame if they were disbarred.

This is pretty simple. One of these shots got approval. Getting that shot is a condition of employment. File your exemptions, sue, whatever you want. Shots are a condition of employment. Shots are a condition of being considered for a job.

You don’t like it? Resign. The DOJ will see you in court. You better have some serious money stashed away because we’ll bury you in paperwork until you go away.

You do not understand.

New employees, of course, can be subject to any requirements—no matter how crazy or intrusive.

But—existing employees are covered by a union contract which states the terms and conditions of employment.

Those terms were negotiated (often for months) and affect both management and labor.

If _either_ party unilaterally violates the contract, the other party can take them to court.

So—any issue that cannot be resolved will ultimately go to the SC.

I am predicting the SC will uphold the AFGE contract by a 9-0 vote, because if they fail to do so it will invalidate every single union contract in the entire country.

That is _not_ going to happen in the real world.

Based on the composition of the federal workforce, this edict will have a disparate impact.

Maybe so. But, in unions, as you probably know, there are UNION BOSSES and UNION MEMBERS. Two very distinct and, at times, very opposed groups.

The Bosses are all about the money, the numbers and the contracts they get rich from.

The Members are all about having someone represent them, either a union rep or lawyer, not having to pay for it and getting a decent contract that will give them the pay and bennies they want.

Two different animals. I grew up in a union family. Every member of my family voted Republican and absolutely hated the Democrats, as did the majority of the guys in it. The union itself, however, always supported the Dem’s.
