That's my guess. They don't want to end up like ISIS, burning people alive in cages one day and then getting annihilated the next. They want to be more like IRAN, treated like a legit nation while they brutally oppress their people and fund worldwide terrorism. In their case add "pedal opium worldwide".
these are not the ones from the planes reported over the weekend. This is a Qatar charter flight. The 4 - 6 airplanes (including the ones from The Nazarene Fund) are still grounded - by the State Dept. The passengers were removed from the plane and are now in hiding thanks to the State Dept turning over the passenger manifests to the Taliban.
This also puts the lie to bed about 100 or less Americans left in Afghanistan.
So they will be paid off, half now, give me the money, the other half once you give is the cash, it will be spun as nice taliban helps Us...sick of cartoon land, elite know nothing snobs..

Will the US State Department let them land anywhere? It does no goof to get these people of the ground at Kabul is there is nowhere for them to land. At least, I had understood that is the limitation for not allowing hundreds if not thousands to leave Afghanistan.
