What do folks do if they have allergies to dairy?

Eat sauerkraut or some other type of probiotic rich fermented food I guess. Also, isn’t most yogurt more or less lactose free? It’s not something I deal with. I can eat or drink anything.

There are kefirs made with other liquids. Often people with lactose intolerance can ingest cultured milk products as the lactose is somehow changed into something else with the culturing process.
