After Ole Miss took down Louisville to open up the season, former Rebels standout A.J. Brown joked the team is ready to take on Alabama.
College football is back and everything feels right in the world. For Ole Miss, the Rebels took down Louisville to open its season with an impressive 43-23 victory over the Louisville Cardinals. For former star receiver and current Tennessee Titan A.J. Brown, he loved what he saw.
So much, in fact, Brown took to Twitter for a classic 'We want Bama!' post. Lane Kiffin saw this and sent quite the response to Brown for the world to see. Kiffin quickly pumped the brakes on Brown's assertion.

Great Vid for Bama fans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o5jBmgdJ3Q
Georgia Bulldawgs want another chance at ‘Bama as well. Unfortunately, several of their vaccinated players have come down with Covid-19. We will see how they do over the next couple of weeks.
Our future (if not already) criminals can beat your future (if not already) criminals!
I look forward to SEC Shorts more than the games themselves.
Here’s this week’s.......(Poor LSU!)

Kiffin is more worried about how he is going to make it out of Knoxville in one piece.
It’s not “ college football “ anymore.
It’s the NFL minor leagues, so quit pretending otherwise.
That’s ok, we’ve got AR-15!
That’s just what we want Bama to think...Muahhahaahahaahaa!
Kiffen has destroyed several college football programs. The team formerly known as the Rebels is his current target.
The offense that scored 3 points? Maybe you want UAB.
Personally, I get a kick out of the “We want Bama” chants and signs. I take it as a compliment.
I know it’s one game against a questionable Miami team, but Bryce Young lived up to the hype. I’m excited. Our defense looked stout.
The offenses of Georgia and Clemson resembled a train wreck.
The Geprgia-Clemson game was played with just the defense members. The offense members got on the fieold to give the defense players a rest.
Of course the Dawgs want Bama as that means it’s for the SEC Championship and inclusion in the CFP.
The truth is that Bama has to play their A game every time as everyone is going to try to play their best to beat them. So while the SEC Championship game is not assured for Bama, it is currently the most likely.
When I’m cut I bleed Crimson, but we ought not ignore Auburn. They have an offensive attack that always seems to give Bama fits. The horrific ‘punt Bama, punt’ still rings in my head after all these years, and that was special teams not even the offense (which in that game generated enough yardage to equal a fairt catch at the ten).
I think the A&M-Bama game will be the defacto National Championship Game this year.
