Hydrogen is the ultimate energy carrier
Batteries and the most common.
The newer lithium ion batteries
which are put in with solar systems and also ran all the new power tools are quite impressive in terms of their energy density and their recharge lifetime
Batteries are stored energy and chemical form are no good for flying machines such as airplanes , however - or helicopters
For this and to get into space, hydrogen is necessary
Hydrogen is a very safe fuel and makes only water when it combusts
I did a masters thesis on hydrogen fuel and buses and I also did one on producing hydrogen from biomass, as well with methane. Using flow reactors
I hydrogen is the answer - there’s no question about it
Almost 30 years after I did my two feces on hydrogen we’re starting to see hydrogen cars and airplanes more - in Germany more. than here Japan as well.
It’s not that big a deal it’s just a lot cleaner than gasoline
gasoline is very good fuel. 117000 BTU. / gal. Liquid at room temp etc
Octane has almost nothing to do with gasoline - and it’s mostly Toluene xylene and benzene.
The two things to understand about hydrogen
is one that it’s very safe
but two. - that it’s very tricky!!
Think about this for a second
If I bust an airplane full full of liquid hydrogen all over a runway , every single atom of that will fly into space at 22,000 ft./s
It’s just GONE
that’s kind of crazy
Almost 30 years after I did my two feces on hydrogen
***Uhh, some kind of drastic typo. I’m thinking you did two THESES on hydrogen...
That is pure poetry.
Yup, hydrogen.
It’s cool that if you can find water on a planet, and you have electricity, you can make fuel to fly home using simple processes...
hydrogen and oxygen...
Pictures or it didn't happen.
Feces on Hydrogen indeed.
You’re talking about hydrogen as a source of CHEMICAL fuel. LENR points to hydrogen as a source of NUCLEAR fuel.
Either way, hydrogen is the future. Tsiolkovsky was right about hydrogen.
