Depends entirely on who is writing the history books. If the type of people writing the history books years from now are cut from the same mold as the people writing the history books today, Biden will be treated as a revered American hero. At the same time, Reagan and Trump will be portrayed as evil leaders reminiscent of Genghis Kahn.

Between 2006 and 2010 I wrote a series of papers on US and Canadian history from a right-wing perspective. If I ever write about what is happening now, I will call 2021 the beginning of the “American Interregnum.”
