Can anyone read between the lines here?

Yes. Black QBs are one-dimensional. They are not pure pocket QBs.

The only exception is Warren Moon.

Wow

Exactly

Few folks realize Moon is the only black QB really in my opinion multi dimensional

The best....and one of the first

The rest run too much which leads to injuries in the big leagues

Hurts scrambling. White guys too like Fran or Archie

Mahommes if he slows down a bit by 30 could last..

The only exception is Warren Moon. James Harris could, in his prime, throw the pigskin in a perfect spiral 70 yards. Doug Williams was a great pocket passer as well.

And Patrick Mahomes, and Russell Wilson, and Dak Prescott, and Lamar Jackson.

While it’s true that for a while the vast majority of black QB were run first those days seem to be gone. College coaches are actually teaching them to QB. So they’re getting to the NFL with a lot more skills than they used to.

Actually, a “pure picket passer” is one dimensional by definition. The best are tthe mobile quarterbacks who also can throw, and there are white and black quarterbacks who can do that.
