Oscar De La Hoya announced Friday he contracted coronavirus and was in the hospital receiving treatment, and that he had to pull out of his upcoming fight against Vitor Belfort.
De La Hoya, 48, posted a video of himself on Twitter in a hospital bed. He said he contracted the illness despite being fully vaccinated.
"Wanted you to hear directly from me that despite being fully vaccinated, I have contracted Covid and am not going to be able to fight next weekend. Preparing for this comeback has been everything to me over the last months, & I want to thank everyone for their tremendous support," he tweeted.

No see - the vaccine makes it so you don’t get it as bad!
The thing is, this doesn’t say ir mean he was even sick.
People get tested almost every day.
A positive test.
No symptoms, no sickness. Only positive PCR.
Go to hospital foe treatment, say antibody infusion as precaution.
News: being treated for Covid in hospital.
Oh yeah—they just send folks in perfect health to the hospital because they are not doing anything better that day...
I have never been a patient in the hospital in my entire life.
Why—because I was never sick enough.
I loved watching him fight.
But... but... but... Dementia Joe said it again today. “This is a pandemic of the UN-vaccinated.” No one, I mean no one, is a better fount of reliable information than Dementia Joe.
TY! succinct!
and to reiterate what HamiltonJay posted: “If you feel sick, get tested, if your test comes back positive, REGARDLESS OF OUR VACCINE STATUS, immediately demand a script for a monoclonal antibody treatment and get it ASAP.”
Monoclonal antibodies sites by zip code:

I am not a healthcare provider, but the below are points I am having in mind based on research:
IMO, monoclonal antibodies better than ivermectin, but may want to have ivermectin on hand to take while you navigate getting the monoclonal antibodies. This seems to be what Joe Rogan did...and he has faster access to better medical care than do most of us.
Have home rapid tests on hand OR go to a provider that can give immediate results. By the time your test goes to a lab and comes back, you have missed several critical days of treatment.
Try to be treated at first symptom...especially if you think you have been exposed.
It’s suspicious isn’t it?
Extrapolate it. What are the odds?
wait, whut?
My neighbors just got out of hospital after a week. Both vaccinated. Treated with Remdesivir and steroids. The husband is still on O2. Both are on blood thinners.
You risk your life, health, and having any future generations with taking the COVID vaccine and it DDS FOR you.
(Doesn’t Do Sh*t)
WAKE UP AMERICA (world). You’ve been had.
If you have yet to do so, DO NOT GET JABBED! Your life (and more) could depend on it.
Someone on FR said something like the only way they would get the Jab, is if someone injects his corpse.
I’m in his camp.
Prayers for him.
but not for us....
if people don't understand that the AMerican people have been sold down the river, I don't know what else to say...
Are people ever going to wake up to the fact the vax is a poison that does not protect them from anything?
People need to call their local infusion centers ahead of getting sick to see what the criteria are for getting treatment, age, risk factors, etc. Not all states/locations are the same. Make sure your doc will prescribe it as well.
I hate for people to be counting on this treatment only to find it is unavailable to them.
Jacqueline, who had actually progressed briefly to the ICU, has gone home and must be recovering. Ironically, she was not vaccinated.
Revuhrund Jhack-son, "who is 79 and has Parkinson’s disease, remains at The Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, where he is receiving intensive occupational and physical therapy, the family said." (Not good news from my pov.) The Revuhrund was fully vaccinated.
“Well if he’s in the hospital getting treated, he’s probably not just feeling perfectly fine!”
Not if you’re getting the antibody infusion to keep from getting sick.
True but only if you can get it. I trust Covid doctors as much as I trust Appalachian gas station sushi. If they hear you are not vaxxed, they might decide it isn’t worth it to treat you.
