Listen to the Dragnet radio show - Jack Webb talks about Fatima cigarettes. (I think later it was Chesterfield cigarettes)

Advertisements aren’t science.

Neither are Internet memes praising the so-called "vaccines."

Many, many moons ago, as a 9-10 year old boy, I sneaked into my mom’s purse for a Kool Menthol cigarette. I will never forget that first puff / taste. Felt like I was smoking a breath mint. Another time, I tried my father’s un-filtered Camel cigarettes. Another unforgettable experience and sensation, only this was one of pain, discomfort, and horrible. The pain went down my throat, esophagus and lungs. Never smoked anything else.

Advertisements aren’t science.

These are "scientists" making claims, just like with COVID-19.

In one case, the advertisement says it's "scientist" claims were audited by an accounting firm. That's akin to "peer reviews" these days, especially when some peers refuse to review some papers, or when different peer-review magazines publish contradicting papers.

On the other hand, it's also like when "four out of five dentists prefer Dentyne." How long will it be before we hear that four out of five doctors prefer Pfizer?

Never made that claim.

Of course you didn't, mlo! Was just making a general observation.

Add cyclamates to the list of products "science" has flip-flopped on.

Generally available, then banned in the UK and the United States, the UK revoked the ban, and now available in 130 countries except the United States.
