Back in the 80’s...there was a drug called bretylium. In HUMAN studies...it suppressed or eliminated a very serious cardiac dysrhythmia known as ventricular febrillation. So successful it was called a “chemical defibrillator”...it was approved for human use in usa. Didn’t work. Off usa market for a long time now.
This study is done in isolated sheep heart muscle. This is a very long way from safe human use for the indication.
Only thing I could say is if it is used and the patient dies at least he will have a smile on his face if for a short time...(no pun intended)..

You didn't read the article, because you would find a past study was already done in humans:

“In 2016, our study of patients with diabetes showed that incidental use of Viagra was linked with reduced heart attack risk and improved heart attack survival.”

Next point?

irregular heart rhythms caused by abnormal handling of calcium

Lack of Boron in your diet will lead to calcium management problems.

Douglas Labs Ultra Preventative vitamins have Boron included, or you can buy as a separate supplement.

Don't wait until you have problems to begin taking Boron daily.

“It also happens to be effective on neuropathy of the feet, a condition I have”

I have neuropathy of the feet too. I’ve looked at everything to deal with the pain since I can’t get pain medication anymore. Nothing has worked.
Do you take it only as needed or is it a low dose that can be taken daily.

I read a study once which claimed a ridiculously high cure rate for irregular heartbeats of all kinds from administering the Amino Acid Taurine, the Amino acid Arginine, and Niacin. The article theorized those aminos became essential amino acids in the elderly due to a loss of the ability to synthesize enough of them, and some irregular heartbeats not due to deficiency of them were a deficiency of niacn.

I’m reading that cialix and viagra promote nitric oxide—which declines as we age. Nitric oxide is normally made by the veins and arteries and keeps them supple so blood flows normally through the blood vessels. Nitric oxide goes into steep decline as we age. that makes the blood vessels more brittle and therefor more vulnerable to cracking the inner blood vessel wall called the endothelium— which allows ldl to break past the inner wall and accumulate as plaque. These drugs were developed in the 1990’s as blood pressure medicines. However, their secondary uses made them household names. Now I’m reading that actually nitric oxide plays a much more significant role in the entire endicrine system for both men and women. That the loss of nitric oxide in the body as we age is part of the systemic break down that occurs with the aging process. That just as a matter of retaining good health its a good idea for both men and women to keep nitric oxide at levels we were at many decades before.

“There is only on place for this thread to go.”

I dunno, there might be some stiff competition for this thread if a duplicate one starts.

Don’t be too hard on yourself if a second one doesn’t measure up to the length of the first one.

IIRC, Viagra was originally developed as a heart medication. Once in use, other “beneficial” side effects were discovered.
