ABBA have revealed they are releasing their first new songs for 40 YEARS in the form of a studio album and will play a 'greatest hits' hologram tour.
Agnetha Fältskog, 71, Björn Ulvaeus, 76, Benny Andersson, 74, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, 75, are returning with a revolutionary concert and new album, Voyage.
Björn and Benny were seen arriving in London on Thursday ahead of making the 'historic' announcement, before appearing during a live interview.
ABBA will release their new album November 5, after the legendary Swedish pop group last put out an album in 1981 when they released The Visitors.
The hitmakers have teamed up with an 850-strong team from Industrial Light & Magic -founded by George Lucas – to create digital versions of themselves for the concert, using months of motion-capture and performance techniques.

Oh dear. I’m seeing everything through a prophecy lens these days and what this brings to mind is Revelation 13:15. Years ago people were theorizing a hologram.
Mark Watney: Tell Commander Lewis, disco sucks.
Mark Watney: [listening to “Turn the beat around”] I am definitely gonna die up here if I have to listen to any more of Commander Lewis’s god-awful disco music. My God, Commander, could you have not brought something from this century? No, I won’t “turn the beat around,” I refuse to.
h/t “The Martian”
I’ve come to like them much better after the 70s ;-) I’m a big fan of their fellow Swedish performer, the multi-talented Gunhild Carling, and since she is a jazz virtuoso it was a natural for Scott Bradlee to have her perform “Dancing Queen” with Post Modern Jukebox:
Best song ever to come from Sweden...

Please tell me Cher isn’t going to be there.
But this time, ABBA are BLACK !!!
Hot.
Fun back then
In 1978 Olivia Newton John hosted them on a tv special she did. Here are a couple of clips of them sitting around jamming and singing.

The article says she is 71, guess I don’t know how to do new math.
I just did. Agnetha and Anna-Frid, although they're both in their 70's. STILL sound the same! Maybe I'm crazy, but I can't wait till the new project is released.
They were a great ban in their hay day. Too old now to sing properly.
The world has become accustomed to pay-per-view. Lucas’ Company will work miracles for them visually, hope he does for them-—but I can’t fathom who they’re target audience would be in 2022. My wife at 53 + all her friends when they’re half in the bag, but who else Under that age ?

I was always way more attracted to Frida.
Article is wrong. She is 75. She is the oldest member.
The world is slightly less crappy today. Go Abba!
“The world is slightly less crappy today.”
Where do you live?
Oh yeah….. exactly what we need…… a new Abba album….
They should have taken the billion 20+ years ago when it was offered for a tour.
They played at our senior center. Also members.
