I have stage 3/4 COPD and breathing is ordinarily a chore and short breaths.
At rest, I breathe relatively normally and comfortably and I use an O2 generator at night set on 2liters p/hr.
I check my O2 frequently and I average between 93 and 96, but remember, that is quality, not quantity.
I put a paper mask on, even covering my nose, and my O2 level never changed, at rest, for about 10 minutes.
I did some moderately strenuous work for a few minutes (all I could do before becoming too winded), and my O2 never changed.
The mask is not an oxygen issue, it's a freedom issue.
That's all I wanted to say, ..... (paper) masks do not affect O2 intake
That’s all I wanted to say, ..... (paper) masks do not affect O2 intake
‘That’s all I wanted to say, ..... (paper) masks do not affect O2 intake’
oh, OK; thanks for chiming in...
