For us, the best produce that lasts the longest, always comes from Costco. They have that big cold room to keep it all in. I’ve had salad greens from there that have lasted 3 weeks in the fridge.

Next best are the big supermarket chains. Stuff from the smaller, cheaper ones doesn’t last as long.

Walmart’s bananas we got from the curbside pick up looked fine yesterday but are really getting brown this morning. Needing to put them in the fridge already and hubby doesn’t like them cold.

I’ve found it useful to hydrate some of my vegetables. They last longer. They get dehydrated in transit and sitting in the store.

When I get lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower or celery I immediately slice off the bottom of the stem and put it in water, cover it and let it soak up what it needs. It lasts much longer. The celery I keep in water in the fridge after cutting the bottom.
