President Joe Biden will not be impeached, the top Republican in the Senate said Wednesday.
“The president is not going to be removed from office with a Democratic House and a narrowly Democratic Senate. That’s not going to happen,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said at an event in his home state when asked whether the president’s behavior should trigger an impeachment.
“I think the way these behaviors get adjusted in this country is at the ballot box,” he added. “There isn’t going to be an impeachment.”
Democrats control the House of Representatives with a 220–212 majority while holding a slim one-vote majority in the upper chamber with the vote of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Impeachment requires a simple majority in the House and a supermajority conviction vote in the Senate.
Former President Donald Trump was impeached twice but both times the Senate voted to acquit him. No president in history has been impeached and convicted.

That is IF we had Republican leadership.
That may be the case, but what did McConnell say that you disagree with? Do you believe it is far fetched to suggest Pelosi won't call an impeachment vote or that 17 Democrats wouldn't vote to remove him from office?

For this reason Biden won't last long - they're just going to use impeachment as the means. The "means" they do use will probably be blamed on "White Supremacists".

Biden needs to be forced to resign, along with his Sec State, and Sec Defense. In a month or less, we could very well have China overrunning Taiwan and Australia. I heard they have pretty much got control of Australia’s interior already. Where will they stop, as long as we have this moron in control?
As a prediction, I’m sure he is spot on. Is it what we would want? Heck no.
No way in hell a democrat Congress is going to even pretend to impeach a democrat president. Face reality children.
He won’t even try. Won’t speak up much.

The GOP has a long history of making brave stands when they know it will have zero consequence and zero chance of passing, along the same lines as the "just wait until we take back _____ and we'll really get it done."

McConnell is right. Biden will be not be removed by impeachment or by the 25th amendment.
But he may well resign.
The guy looks miserable. He is being held together by chewing gum and scotch tape at this point, and it will only get worse.
He would probably be relieved to go back to his old basement.
If he becomes enough of an embarrassment that his handlers ask him to resign, I doubt he will put up a fight.
Then we will have the first female President.
But after a week or two of the press fawning over her, her utter incompetence and her profoundly obnoxious personality will manifest.
Harris’ “honeymoon” will end quickly and abruptly. Just as with Biden, it will dawn on people that nobody voted for her - not even dead people voted for Kamala Harris.
She is younger than Biden though, so she will limp through to 2024 and get beaten by President Trump.
Has McConnell justifiably condemned Biden in a speech on the floor of the Senate, as he unjustifiably did to Trump?

impeached possibly, removed no... no way 67 in Senate... Dems don’t care... know the media will carry their water... even in this disaster they still defend and protect them.
Leave Biden in, he will do more damage to the Democrats while in office than out of office...
