As a physician I’ve treated quite a few covid patients with Ivermectin / doxycycline/ vit c/ vit D and Zinc. So far none have been hospitalized and none have had side effects. Some have also received monoclonal antibodies. Granted this is not a scientific double blind study but the lack of side effects in my panel encourages me.
As an aside I’ve been prescribing Hydroxychloroquine for over 30 years for lupus and the arthridities and while patients need to have their retina examined regularly by an ophthalmologist have not seen any issues of concern with this medication despite the FDA now telling us if we give it to a Covid patient. Politics interfering with medical treatment and decision making is not a good plan.
By the way, would not recommend the horse paste formation, find a doctor who will discuss using it with you and if they agree they can usually find a pharmacy to dispense it...and it’s very inexpensive. Recently I had to call 4 pharmacies in Pittsburgh for my patient who was visiting there before I could find one that would dispense it. In Texas I’ve yet to have that issue.
so what is the treatment/dosage you prescribe? Could I go to a veterinarian and tell him it is for my horse and use it myself?
I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that Dirtymac already had a doctor to talk to! *pulls bag over head*
I’m just too jumpy about this - next time I’ll read moar! :D
You could make a fortune making telehealth appointments with fellow freepers 🙂
