A North Carolina high school has been placed on lockdown after at least one person was reportedly shot on campus Wednesday, authorities said.
Authorities received a call just after 12 p.m. from a school resource officer about someone shot at Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, news station WXII reported.
“There has been a shooting on school property,” the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook. “We and the [Winston-Salem Police Department] have secured the campus and are doing everything possible to keep students safe.”
The sheriff’s office said it had begun transporting all students to the Robinhood Family YMCA.

Mt. Tabor area is in NW Winston and used to be the best school in the city. Lot of high dollar neighborhoods nearby.
The E, NE and SE parts of town are predominantly Amish. Eh, maybe not so much in the the SE anymore it went Mex back in the 90s.

1:47 p.m. UPDATE: Winston-Salem police just gave the following update
Parents should now report to the Harris Teeter and NOT to the Robinhood YMCA to be reunited with their children.
The area around Mt. Tabor High School is a NO FLY ZONE do not fly your drones around this area.

not sure if this is the same guy since the suspect’s name as a Jr next to it so it could be this guy’s son..online they said his birth date was 2005 which would make him 16
