We needed written permission to leave campus, and written permission to date — naming names of who you’d be with.

Interesting they waited until 2 days after the withdrawal date with a 100% refund. Students have until 9/10 to get 90% refunded. I would get out now if I were foolish enough to enroll there.

This New York Times article, entitled “A Misleading CDC Number,” puts the rate of outdoor transmission at less than 0.1%, stating that “there is not a single documented COVID-19 infection in the world from causal outdoor interaction, such as walking past someone on the street or eating at a nearby table.”
Over and above the fact that "documented" can mean anything the NYT wants it to, the timing of this little truth bomb is interesting. Possibly such matters shouldn't be a bother to the Amherst elite in the eyes of the NYT but for the rest of us, well...

When did college become prison and WHY are they forcing you to PAY for it? Who in their right mind would attend ANY institution (and that is what they are now), pay a FORTUNE and be treated like a prisoner? Don’t forget they also make you apologize for being white at every turn now.
