The Mayor says they're welcome and locals are being generous and well meaning donating items, etc. but can't help thinking this isn't' a good idea.
Just one rape or murder is one too many. They won't say where their staying just in a local hotel with the cost met by government (i.e. taxpayer).
I can't imagine them having many useful skills so they will go straight on welfare!

Reports from military who have been stationed in Afghanistan say that about 90% of Afghan military people can’t even sign their names. So, illiterate ... yes.

90% of Afghani's are known to be illiterate. But the Biden administration assures us that this will make it easier to teach their eager and malleable minds. First on the agenda... critical race theory, how the white male is responsible for everything bad that has ever happened in the world.
Out of curiosity....Did the mayor talk to the constituents about this? Were they all 100% on board with this? Or is it yet another case of one or two people making lousy decisions for the rest, all in exchange for a few dollars from Uncle Sugar?
They’ll be good for a little while. Eventually the novelty will wear off. They’ll start to venture out. They’ll get to see women and girls wearing clothes they would have never seen in their lifetimes and God help those women/girls after that.
Then local law enforcement will show up to deal with a guy whose belief system tells him he did nothing wrong. And it’ll be unlikely that there will be anyone there that can speak Dari or Pashtu fluently.
But, at that point, no matter how brutal they are, how much crime they commit, how many people they victimize, it’s TOO LATE. They’re already here and, more than likely, they ain’t going back. Although some would probably be surprised to learn that a fair number of those like these savages do go back home. They can’t handle living in a place like the US.
I worked in Iraq and we had locals working with us. One told me that he had family that had settled in the Los Angeles area. They all wanted to come back to Iraq. They told him life was too hard in America. I laughed and asked....you mean getting a job and earning money is too hard for them?
