Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson on COVID Vaccine: 'I'm Quite Happy About It'
Newsmax ^ | Zoe Papadakis

Posted on 08/31/2021 11:52:27 AM PDT by DugwayDuke

"The music icon tested positive for the virus earlier in August despite being fully vaccinated. Looking back, the reason he was able to recover without any serious side effects was because he had the jab, Dickinson said."

"My belief is — and I stress, it's a belief — that this proves that I would have been more sick if I've not taken the vaccine," he said. "I mean, I had both jabs. Everybody I know has had both jabs. And I'm quite happy about it. You know, none of us have started growing extra heads, suddenly wanting sidle up to 5G phones,... So, all of these things, I think it's largely a myth!"

"I think they believe [conspiracy theories] because of their psychological makeup. They have a need to believe in these things," Dickinson continued. "It's the same as people that are going to sit on top of a mountain every year and wait for the world to end. And the world doesn't end, but do they modify their beliefs? Actually, no. It strengthens them."

Influenza vaccines are manufactured far differently, by using chicken eggs. And there’s still open questions about their efficacy.

Using a false term does not bolster one’s credibility.

I didn’t use a false term. Manufacture process does not decide whether or not it’s a vaccine. Lying about what people say does not bolster one’s credibility.

Why call a person that does not want to take an experimental (genetic approach) inoculation, an anti-vaxxer?

I wonder why in the U.S. we don't have an inactivated virus vaccine, like the flu (vaccine) shot?

Many people get the flu shot but do not want the experimental mRNA shot. Are they still anti-vax?

You used “anti-vaxxers”. In the context of those who do not trust the substances produced by Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen et al—not just that nobody proved that they are indeed vaccines apart from proof by repeated assertion (a logical fallacy), but the burgeoning governmental efforts to attempt to mandate these substances and attach “vaccine passports” to them, and worse.

So what did I lie about?

Not what I said. I don’t give a rip if you want to take the shot or not. But when you start saying they’ve changed the message when LAST summer it was obvious that their “best case” goal was to add a covid shot to the annual vaccine list along side the flu then you are demonstrably anti-vax.

We do have an inactivated virus vaccine, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

If a person must lie about it they are anti. It’s just that simple.

I used anti-vaxxer in the context of a person misrepresenting how the vaccine was presented. Because his statement was anti this vaccine. Anti-vax. Very simple.

Saying I used a false term. I did not. That is a LIE from you.

But did they misrepresent?

In that context, it’s still a false term. One has to prove something is a vaccine in order to declare its critics to be against vaccines—for starters.

Doubling down on personal attacks will not bolster credibility.

“You were the one who claimed that a medicine had to be 100% effective to be considered a vaccine.”

No, I just said these vaccines don’t produce immunity. You said they don’t have to produce 100% immunity to be considered a vaccine.

So how much immunity do they have to produce? 1%? 10%? 50%?

“Over 5.29 billion doses administered tells us a lot about safety and effectiveness.”

It tells us absolutely nothing about the long term safety and effectiveness.

They did. They outright lied about how the vaccine has been represented. Anybody actually paying attention knew LAST SUMMER they didn’t think it would be one shot total protection for life. Saying they said is a misrepresentation.

No it’s not a false term.

Doubling down on your lies just proves you’re a liar. I don’t truck with liars. We’re done. Reply all you want, I ain’t reading it, because we know you’re just writing lies.

biden, fauxi, and the cdc recommending vaccines for our citizens to stop the spread of a virus while biden opens the border, invites, welcomes, and freely spreads hundreds of thousands of disease carrying invaders across our country during a “global pandemic” reeks of hypocrisy, proves our government officials don’t care about our health, and anything these people preach shouldn’t be trusted...

i refuse to trust hypocrites...

You must not truck with yourself, in that case. Once you lob the first personal attack, your credibility is shot. And “last summer”? Nothing was concrete about any supposed vaccine. And what I said in previous posts stands.

I accept your apology for wasting my time.

No immunity at all?

FWIW, IIRC the requirement is at least 50%.

“No immunity at all?”

Doesn’t seem to produce much to speak about, from the statistics we’ve seen over the last 6 weeks or so.

i don’t care what trump says...

at the end of february 2021 current president biden disbanded former president trump’s “operation warp speed” and transferred all responsibilities to the “white house covid 19 response team”...

everything changed after biden and the demonrats stole the 2020 election...

i refuse to trust hypocrites, liars, and thieves...

You might want to update your statistics:

“Is COVID-19 Vaccine Protection Really Waning?”

https://www.newsmax.com/health/health-news/covid-vaccine-protection-infection/2021/08/30/id/1034352/

I would suggest you might want to broaden your research. Too many posters here on FR are anti-vaxxers with an agenda to denigrate the vaccines claiming they’re poisons, do not provide any immunity, and some even want you to believe that the vaccines are a plot to depopulate the world.

Have you heard of boosters? Do you need more research to conclude the protection is weak? Most people aren’t as stupid as you are.
