I was just thinking this myself last night. If DeSantis were to force Florida hospitals to hand out ziverdo kits to every presumptive covid case and it proved effective....covid would be over.
Then some really serious questions would need to be asked.

it wouldn’t make any difference at all; the medicos and the media would report that the delta variant had run its natural course, and then prepare to inflict their damage relative to the next variant in line...
and the populace has waded too deep into the covid cesspool to ask questions; they can but scream to the officials for salvation...
