Superintendent Bill Husfelt held a press conference on Monday in regards to what he called misinformation being spread on social media.
“It is absolutely reprehensible to me that anyone would tell our parents to teach your children to lie to us about if they had been exposed or if they have had COVID or if they had had the vaccine,” Superintendent Husfelt said. “I cannot imagine what world we are living in when you have someone that is supposed to be a professional encouraging children to do that.”
The Superintendent for Walton County Schools also agreed that it’s best for parents and students to be honest.
“We have to work together,” Walton County Schools Superintendent Russell Hughes said, “so that we remain safe, we remain vigilant, and that we do the right thing.”
NewsChannel 7 reached out to Dr. Jon Ward regarding his post on his opinion page on Facebook. He declined to do an on-camera interview but provided the following statement:
“I regret making that statement. I posted as a frustrated parent who highly values education. My response was emotional, and I realize that it was inappropriate and does not reflect the values of me, my family, or my business. This is why I chose to change the wording the same day to better represent my concerns.”
Well, kids, being craft as they are, in the UK found out that they could scam the covid test with soda and orange juice so they didn’t have to go to school. So, I guess there is some precedent.
On a side note, should it make folks question just how valid the tests are if they can be manipulated with orange juice?
We’re 18 months into this and don’t seem to have a good, reliable, cheap test for Covid. Yay CDC.
Government absolutely MUST retain its monopoly on the right/privilege to lie.
The PCR tests, especially the ones using snot samples, were never meant for diagnostic use.
An accurate result doesn’t necessarily mean you’re sick or infectious.
All it means is, if the test is accurate, that viral debris was found.
Using a PCR test meant for epidemiological use as a diagnostic test is a dandy tool in perpetuating a scamdemic.
There’s a reliable test.
A viral cell culture.
Note that’s not what’s in use for diagnostic purposes.
I pretty sure I had covid, last January, after traveling home from Iraq. Before they had a “test” or gave it a name. Up until then I don’t ever remember having the flu and I don’t get a flu shot.
Prior to all of this chaos/nonsense, if went to the doctor because you thought you might have the “regular flu” did they do some sort of test for it?
Or did the doctor listen to your symptoms, take your temperature and give you some Tamiflu if it was early enough?
Oh, there are bugs you can get prophylaxis for. Flu, shingles, RSV, Hepatitis, rabies...
But not CoupFlu.
Go figure.

Sometimes it is ok to lie. It depends on the context. You can lie to a nazi to protect the life of a Jew.
BTW, if you know any vets or vet tecks who get a rabies shot as a prophylaxis, ask them what they do before getting another shot.

Lying is very common in the USA. Its in the nature of our vast, bloated, highly political government and ruling class. Of course it spreads from there.
They are much more concerned for tenants continuing to not pay rent, thwarting a Supreme Court ruling, and our language. Did you see their latest post? Changing the language for everything. They are suggesting words to be used instead of what we have used for centuries.
Lying...hmmm...like “professionals” telling children to lie and say that women can have a penis?
I don’t have a problem with the doctor’s original statement, other than the stupidity of saying it on FB.
The system is corrupt and needs to be “gamed”.
This is like lying to a phone solicitor and saying you are in the middle of something when you aren’t, or you have someone on the other line when you don’t.
Or instructing your child to lie to a stranger who knocks on the door and asks if they are all alone in the house.
Or telling your union rep that you will vote for the Democrat, so you can keep your job.
Or instructing your child not to mention to their teachers that you keep firearms in the house.
Or exaggerating the amount of time spent working in your tax deductible home office.
These are all lies you would be stupid not to tell, and stupid not to instruct your children to learn as well. Just don’t do it via FB.
Lots of parents tell their kids to lie on school surveys.
How does one secure one of those?
Not all lies are morally wrong.
There is a reason the Ten Commandment isn’t worded “Thou Shalt Not Lie.”
“Bearing false witness” is a special kind of lie that incriminates an innocent person. That is immoral.
There is nothing wrong with providing people with misinformation when it is none of their business.
