I've read two news articles about these fires. Both blamed "climate change." Not a word about the arsonists who have been arrested, caught in the act, setting fires in the Sierras.

One of the perps was some whore in a bikini. She had set several fires.

The other was some fag antifa type who also taught classes in college. He taught law enforcement, IIRC.

I like Tahoe. Took my kids skiing at Heavenly. Etc. It's a shame.

Over 3000 fire fighters on this one fire alone.

Reports of fires being blown thru the canopies of the trees by winds,

All those years of gathering dead wood and logs and no willingness to develop better ways to fight these pyrhhic piles of pulp.. little things like access roads,,

Maybe they need to build giant firebreaks, altho its tough to stop embers from traveling all over the place and jumping lines at will.

They have Blackhawk helis that can make it faster to water and back and the DC10 is there but this baby is hugh and still going. Needless to say, the terrain is a bit rugged as well.

It’ll be the holidays before they get this one contained much less out at this rate.
