PITTSBURGH — Two men have been arrested after police say they attacked a family leaving a restaurant on Pittsburgh’s South Side Sunday evening.
Officers were called to the intersection of East Carson Street and South 18th Street for reports of an assault with injuries around 6:45 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a family of four who had just left a restaurant, who told officers a woman in their group was tackled by another woman, who also grabbed her by the hair.
The victim’s husband tried to intervene, according to investigators, and ended up getting hit in the eye by another man. The victim’s son then jumped in to help. By that time police had arrived and were able to break it up.
Police arrested Latae Young and Wesley Brown, both 27, of North Versailles. Young was incoherent and highly intoxicated, police said.
