How many of the smarter English-speaking Badris were put on the first C-17s, when no screening was done?

The kind of amateurish and embarrassing, but likely intentional stuff that should keep America wide awake at night.

We should also expect even here on these pages that the Taliban via China will be able to maintain and operate the Blackhawks (and no doubt the rest of the booty). They already have the Manuals and the capability of producing the mechanical parts. The size of their combat ready air arm is perhaps limited only by access to trained personnel - and China trains aggressively.

Even without operable helos, the 2.75 inch rockets are now precision laser guided, with a module screwed in between the motor and the warhead, with little fins and laser seekers.

We left them thousands of these rockets and also laser designators. The upgrade of these dumb rockets to smart is an untold story of warfare in the past 5 years. These "dumb" area-fire rockets can now fly into a window seeking the laser.

So, the 2.75" rocket pod can be removed from a helo and put on the back of a pickup truck, which hides just over a rise, with only the pod over the berm, while another person lases the target, a house, bunker, vehicle etc.

With all the MRAPs, ASVs, armored Humvees etc, it will be hard for anybody to resist the Taliban, say, in the Panjir Valley.
