It is not just disrespect for authority that is the problem.

The bigger problem is the unequal treatment that those who disrespect authority receive for their actions.

The Col. Vindman response was he was permitted to retire with all benefits, however Ltc Scheller is kicked out immediately. He only has 17 year in so he is going to loose his benefits.

This unequal treatment does as much as anything to create disrespect for authority. What say you to that.

I really respect the LTC who got fired.

The guy is just 2.5 years away from 20 years.

His future income plans were definitely based on a life time military pension and health care that just went down the toilet.
