“If they weren’t tested until after the teacher was diagnosed, we don’t really know if they were positive or not previously.”

What happened to the CDC admission that the “test” doesn’t distinguish between the ‘rona and the flu?

Read the report they did RNA sequencing to the positive samples proving that the teacher who also has the same RNA sequence was the source. RNA is like DNA it is a billion or more to one that the RNA matches a random sample other than the teachers strain. Sorry science is hard for illiterates fortunately the policy makers don’t listen to illiterates they relay on PHD level or above for policy so the average idiot has no say. Flat out it not up too your types and never will be.

There is no CDC admission as alleged. There is a CDC explanation that their test was designed to only detect SarsCov2 and not any other common respiratory illnesses.

A test that can only detect one type of pathogen logically cannot distinguish between two pathogens. It is a binary yes/no test.

The multi-panel assays that can identify the presence of multiple pathogens have now had Covid added to them, so the CDC is ending their free test and you will have to pay for a commercial one after that.
