Cawthorn calls on Harris to invoke 25th Amendment and remove Biden as president over Afghanistan crisis

North Carolina Rep. Madison Cawthorn, a freshman Republican congressman, is calling on Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove President Biden from office following the deadly, botched withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.

"Our nation is at a crisis point," he wrote in a letter to Harris and the rest of the cabinet Thursday.

He warned of China’s ambitions on the world stage, the resurgent Russia, rising inflation, chaos at the southern border and other global predicaments threatening the U.S. – and argued that confronting them will take strong, decisive leadership.

"Joe Biden’s physical inability to lead is not a political talking point – it’s a demonstrable fact," Cawthorn told Fox News Thursday evening. "He is not mentally fit to serve as president of the United States."

The congressman said he does not believe Biden is capable of serving as commander-in-chief following the disastrous U.S. pullout of Afghanistan, which has left thousands of Afghan allies stranded, the country in Taliban hands and the most Americans killed in a single attack in Afghanistan in over a decade.

"I cannot sit idly by and watch the nation that I love spiral into death and devastation because our leader cannot discharge his duties," he said. "There is no time to wait, the time for action is now."

In his letter to Harris, he wrote that as a member of the president’s inner circle and a former presidential primary debate opponent, she has seen clearer than anyone Biden’s "current cognitive limitations."

"As the person that works closest with the president, you are also the one who best knows the differences between the perception the West Wing wants to project and the ugly reality," he added.

Agree. The lowers that be probably never realized just what a disaster she is. CornPop might go off script once in a while, but with his handlers and controlled press events they can keep tabs on him.

Her, no effin’ way. While she’s dumber than dirt, once in that position she can do and say what she wants. And short of taking her out, there’s nothing they can do.

I hope that the folks in 5 or 6 states are proud of what they helped bring about.

If that happens, Kamala becomes Prez,, and appoints the HildaBeast as VP.

Then Kamala resigns as Prez.

With the vacancy, Her Thighness is promoted to Prez and puts her fat ass on the throne in the Oval Office.

Stretch or Schmucky as VP.

Harris (or her handlers) are trying to play the waiting game to have her last to Biden’s 2 year plus 1 day mark. They are thinking that she will get to serve 2 years plus two terms. So the 25th will not be invoked until then .... UNLESS ... Biden becomes too much of a political burden.

Yes, and if we kick Harris and Biden out, we've got Pelosi, who would be worse than either of them.

The only hope for America--and the world--is to get Trump back in there, but nobody knows how.

Take a step back..

If Kameltoe Hairryass moves to #1, then she picks VP.
NOW.. imagine if she chose Hitlery... then a 25th is pulled on Hairryass.. we would have Hitlery in #1.

Not saying that is who it would be, but heck, this could turn into musical chairs with all of the 25ths pulled in 1 (or 2) terms..

"Biden is a disaster but Harris would be a death knell."

I don't think so.. it will be the same people pulling the strings, but Hairryass wouldn't have any support, unlike PedoJoe, who has at least a dozen or so supporters.

It takes a majority of the cabinet plus the VP and if BIden writes a letter then it takes 2/3 of the Congress to kick him out - same as impeachment.

I don’t think you will find 1/2 of the cabinet officers willing to fire themselves by making Harris President.

But there’s something there, that has taken things to a completely different level.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sure....So a party lost an election but the junta that controls said party still managed to get their puppet sitting in the White House. And now their puppet is total cognitive freefall and while they thought they were smart and manage this all behinds the scenes, it’s not working out all that well.
If one was to pick the most ‘unfit to serve’ POTUS ever, the only question is who takes the number 2 spot.
The more important question is, who all makes up that junta? Is it just one person or 10?
I don’t think it’s one. And I think that Soeteros involvement is more the liaison/messenger.
For one, I don’t think he’s nearly as smart as they credit him to be. Hell, I don’t even think he’s that evil. He’s more interested in hanging out with Beyoncé and JayZee.
nonsense
Harris wants to be a 2 term President. She nasty and corrupt but her own self interest keeps her manageable.
Biden so far gone he no longer knows what self interest is.
Corrupt is manageable in a political leader, crazy is not.
EEGator @20: "Is that a real person, or from a book?"
The Psychology Wiki's Morton's Fork states:
The expression originates from a policy of tax collection devised by John Morton, Lord Chancellor of England in 1487, under the rule of Henry VII. His approach was that if the subject lived in luxury and had clearly spent a lot of money on himself, he obviously had sufficient income to spare for the king. Alternatively, if the subject lived frugally, and showed no sign of being wealthy, he must have substantial savings and could therefore afford to give it to the king. These arguments were the two prongs of the fork and regardless of whether the subject was rich or poor, he didn't have a favourable choice.
My theory is that she is waiting for 2 years and 1 day, thinking that she will get re-elected and serve 10 years.
